What you'll need

A Fyxer account
At least one connected inbox (Gmail or Outlook)
A connected calendar (for meeting search and transcripts)
A supported AI tool, such as ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, or another MCP-compatible tool

How to connect

ChatGPT

You can connect Fyxer to ChatGPT in two ways:

As an app via the ChatGPT directory (email drafting, using your inbox and meeting context). Learn more: Connect Fyxer to ChatGPT
Via the MCP URL https://app.fyxer.com/mcp for the full tool set – see the Other AI tools section below

Claude

Connect via Claude's connector directory. Learn more: Connect Fyxer to Claude.

Codex

Codex doesn't have an app directory, but you can add the Fyxer MCP via the public URL https://app.fyxer.com/mcp. See Other AI tools below.

Other AI tools

You can manually connect to the Fyxer MCP using the public URL https://app.fyxer.com/mcp. Your tool must support MCP client protocol with Streamable HTTP transport.

Authentication note: Fyxer uses OAuth 2.0 with Dynamic Client Registration (DCR). Currently, DCR is only supported for ChatGPT and Claude. If your tool requires its own OAuth callback URL (e.g. a cloud-hosted AI product), it will not be able to connect via OAuth at this time. We are working to expand this support.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a client ID or client secret?

For supported clients (ChatGPT and Claude), no – credentials are created automatically. For other cloud-hosted AI tools, OAuth may not work unless their redirect URI has been approved. Contact Support using the Chat bottom right of the Dashboard if your tool is not connecting.

Do I need to use the same email for my AI tool and Fyxer?

No. You authenticate your Fyxer account separately and can use different emails for each service.

Will Fyxer send emails on my behalf?

No. The draft_email tool only creates a draft in your inbox. You always review, edit, and send it yourself.

What data can the MCP access?

Fyxer only accesses data from your own connected accounts (emails, meetings, and documents). No data is stored beyond the active session.

What about rate limits?

Rate limits are applied per user. If you hit a limit, please wait a moment and try again.
