Get started with Fyxer Spaces
Give every deal, project, or client its own home, gathered automatically from your emails and meetings.
A Space brings together everything connected to a deal, a client, or a project, in one place. Emails, meetings, and documents with that company flow in automatically, so anyone with access can see what was said, when, and who owes the next step, without digging back through their own inbox and meeting notes.
How Spaces work
Each Space is organized around one external company or account
Emails and call recordings with that company are added automatically as they happen
You can chat with a Space to ask questions about what's in it
A Space shows the company name and logo, a summary of the relationship, a timeline linking back to the original emails and meetings, action items, notes, and who's involved
Accessing and creating a Space
Open your Dashboard and go to Spaces. You may also find yourself already added to Spaces as a viewer, which does not require accepting an invite.
To start your own Space:
Select Create a space
Give your Space a name and pick what information should be added
Choose how teammates are invited
Select Create Space
Once it's created, activity with that company starts flowing in automatically, and you can invite anyone else who needs access.
Who gets added, and how
When you correspond with the external party a Space is built around, whether that's joining the meeting, sending or replying to an email, or being cc'd, you're automatically invited to that Space.
There are two roles you can hold in a Space:
Viewers can see the data in a Space but don't contribute to it. Viewers can be added without needing to accept an invite.
Collaborators contribute data to a Space. Collaborators must accept an invite before joining.
This matters because it's what keeps a Space complete. If a customer reaches out to a new contact on your team, that person gets pulled into the loop automatically, rather than relying on someone to remember to forward the history along.
Managing what's shared
You can hide your own emails or meetings from a Space if you don't want them included. Go to the meeting or email you want to hide and select the Hide from others icon, far right
Space creators can manage who has access: inviting people, removing members or invites, and approving requests to join
You can reassign, complete, or set deadlines on action items in a Space, and add new ones
Viewers can be added to a Space without accepting an invite. Collaborators must accept their invite before they can contribute
Spaces in action
Scenario: a deal is closing and moving to a new team.
When a salesperson cc's the account's new point of contact on the handover email, that person is invited to the Space automatically and has the full history straight away. Their first reply can draw on that context, so the customer doesn't have to repeat anything.
Scenario: you're switching between several client relationships in a day.
Instead of piecing together where things stand from your inbox, you can open the relevant Space and ask it directly, or scan the timeline and action items to get back up to speed in a minute or two.
Scenario: a new team member joins an existing account.
Once they're added to the Space, they can see the full history of what's been said and agreed, without anyone needing to forward old threads or explain the background from scratch.
