How Fyxer handles admin account deletion
How Fyxer prevents organizations from losing admin access.
Fyxer prevents your organization from being left without a Super Admin. If you're the only Super Admin in an organization with other members, you cannot delete your account until you've either promoted another member to Super Admin or removed all other members first. There's always someone in control.
If another Super Admin already exists in your organization, you can delete your own account without any restrictions, unless your organization is on an Enterprise plan, where all account deletion requests are reviewed by the Fyxer team.
How to leave as the only Super Admin
Option 1: promote another member
Go to your Dashboard → Admin settings → People → Members
Find the user you want to promote
Click the role dropdown next to their name
Select Super Admin
Confirm the change
Once another Super Admin exists, you can delete your account.
Option 2: remove all members first
Go to your Dashboard → Admin settings → People → Members
Remove each member from the organization
Once you're the only member, you can delete your account
For Enterprise organizations: additional deletion controls
Organizations on an Enterprise plan have extra protections in place.
Super Admins cannot delete their account or their organization directly. A deletion request can be submitted, which is logged and reviewed by the Fyxer team before anything is actioned.
Members cannot delete their own accounts – their accounts are managed centrally by admins.
To submit a deletion request, go to Dashboard → Admin settings → Delete organization and select Please get in touch with us.
Frequently asked questions
I'm the CEO/founder – why wasn't I made an admin automatically?
Admin status is assigned per account, not by job title. If you joined an existing organization, for example, via domain auto-add, you may have been added as a Member by default.
Why can't I delete my account or cancel my subscription?
If you are the only Super Admin in an organization with other members, Fyxer will ask you to promote another Super Admin first. This prevents your team from losing access to the organization.
Can Support make me a Super Admin?
Yes, after verifying ownership, Fyxer Support can make you a Super Admin. Verification protects your organization from unauthorized access.
Will my data or subscription be affected?
No. Your emails, meeting notes, and subscription remain intact while access is corrected.
