Why does Fyxer say I need admin approval?
What the admin approval message means and how to get past it.
If you see a message that you need admin approval to finish setting up Fyxer, it means your organization's email or IT settings require explicit permission before third-party tools can connect. This is common in company-managed Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 environments.
What admin approval means
Your email provider is blocking Fyxer from connecting automatically until an IT administrator, Microsoft 365 admin, or Google Workspace admin approves it.
This isn't an error – it's a security control set by your organization.
What to do
Option 1: ask your IT or email admin to approve Fyxer
This is the fastest path in most organizations.
Share with them:
Fyxer needs access to email and calendar
Approval is required to complete setup

Option 2: you are the admin, but still blocked
In some cases, users are admins but haven't granted app consent yet.
Microsoft 365 admins may need to approve the app at the tenant level
Google Workspace admins may need to allow Fyxer in Admin Console → Security → API controls
Option 3: try with a personal inbox
If you don't need Fyxer connected to your work inbox right now, you can:
Sign up using a personal Gmail or Outlook account
Start using Fyxer immediately
Connect your work inbox later once approval is granted
