Need a draft? How to trigger one yourself

Updated this week

Fyxer AI automatically creates draft replies for emails it categorizes as To Respond. But if something slips through - or you want to fine-tune a reply - you can request a draft manually in seconds.

When to Use This

Manual draft requests are useful when:

  • You archived or snoozed an email too soon

  • You’ve already replied but want a follow-up drafted

  • The message didn’t meet our auto-draft criteria (e.g., too short, vague, or no clear reply needed) and did not deliver a draft

  • You want to test or tailor how Fyxer responds

How to Request a Manual Draft

Forward to [email protected]

  1. Open the email you want help replying to

  2. Forward it to [email protected]

  3. In the body, type draft. (Optional: add guidance like tone or details.)

Example:

draft - short, friendly reply confirming the deadline

Fyxer will generate a draft and place it back in your inbox thread within a few minutes.

Tips for Best Results

  • Be specific in your instructions - tone, content, context all help Fyxer get it right

  • Turn on Conversation View so the draft appears in the right thread

  • Avoid forwarding the same email multiple times, or you may see duplicate drafts

💡 Tip: Need a reply to an automated email? If you forward it to the AI and request a draft, Fyxer will generate one, even if the email is automated.
