How to download a meeting recording
Download the video, summary, or transcript from your Notetaker meeting recordings.
Most recorded meetings give you three downloadable files: the video, the transcript, and the summary. Here's how to download each one, including the extra steps needed for video, depending on your browser.
Where to find your recording
Go to your Dashboard → Notetaker
Open the Recorded tab and select the meeting you want
Downloading the video
Where video is available, it can be downloaded as a .mp4 file. The download method depends on your browser:
Chrome
Select Play on the video
Click the three-dot menu at the bottom right of the video player
Select Download
If the three-dot menu doesn't appear, right-click the video and choose the save or download option instead.
Microsoft Edge
Edge uses the same video player as Chrome, so the steps are the same:
Select Play on the video
Click the three-dot menu at the bottom right of the video player
Select Download
You can also right-click the video and choose Save video as.
Safari
Select Play on the video
Right-click (or Control-click) directly on the video
Select Download Video
Video download is only available for meetings captured when Notetaker joins a call directly. Recordings made using the Notetaker desktop app or in-person, using Start recording now are audio only, so there's no video to download.
Downloading the summary
From the meeting view, open the Summary tab. You'll find two options:
Download PDF: exports a formatted, share-ready PDF
Copy summary: copies the summary text to paste into an email, Slack, or your CRM
Downloading the transcript
From the meeting view, open the Transcript tab. Similar options are available:
Copy transcript: copies the transcript text to paste into an email, Slack, or your CRM
Download transcript: exports the transcript text as a .txt file
