How Fyxer billing works (plans, seats and charges)

Fyxer charges based on the number of active users in your organization. Here's how plans, seats, and billing cycles work.

This article explains how Fyxer pricing works: what plans are available, how seats are counted, and why your bill might change. If your question is specifically about adding team members or unexpected seat charges, see How team billing works (per-seat pricing explained).


The basics

Fyxer uses per-seat pricing within an organization. Your total cost is:

Plan price × number of active seats

A seat is one active user in your organization. An organization is the shared workspace where billing is managed.


Choosing a plan

Fyxer offers two plans:

  • Starter: core inbox organization and AI draft replies

  • Professional: advanced drafting, meeting notetaker, scheduling, and automation features

You can switch plans at any time from Dashboard → Admin settings → Billing. During your trial, Professional features are enabled by default so you can explore the full product before deciding.

Monthly vs annual billing

You can pay monthly or annually. Annual billing includes a 25% discount and is charged upfront for the full year.

You can switch between billing cycles from Dashboard → Admin settings → Billing.

Watch out for auto-add domain

If you set up an organization, there's a setting called "Automatically add users for this domain." When it's on, anyone who signs up with your company email address is added to your organization automatically, and counts as a seat.

It's the most common cause of unexpected charges. Check it early, especially if you're planning to share Fyxer with your team.

Why your bill might change

Your bill changes when:

  • Seats are added or removed

  • You switch plans

  • You switch billing cycles


Where to manage billing

Go to: Dashboard → Admin settings → Billing.

From there you can:

  • View your current plan and seat count

  • Switch plans or billing cycles

  • Add or remove users

  • Download invoices

  • Update VAT or tax information


Frequently asked questions

Can I use Fyxer on my own without adding my team?

Yes. If you're the only user, you'll have one seat. Review your domain settings to make sure team members aren't added automatically. Learn more: Auto-add users with domain: what it is, why it adds seats, and how to turn it off.

Can team members I invite pay for their own seats?

No. Billing is handled at the organization level. One payment method covers all seats.

Why was I charged for multiple seats?

This is most often caused by additional users joining your organization and/or auto-add domain being enabled. Learn more: Auto-add users with domain: what it is, why it adds seats, and how to turn it off.

I trialed the Professional plan – will I be charged for it?

Only if you remain on the Professional plan when your trial ends. You can switch to the Starter plan at any time from Dashboard → Admin settings → Billing.
