How to invite or add team members

Invite, create and manage teams in Fyxer.

Fyxer makes it easy to invite teammates, manage who has access, and stay in control of roles and billing.


Where to manage your yeam

Go to your Dashboard → Settings → People. You'll see three tabs at the top of the page:

Members

Shows everyone who is already part of your organization. From here, admins can:

  • See current teammates

  • View their roles and amend permissions

  • Remove users, if needed

Teams

Here you can group any of your teammates into teams to organize your users by department, project, or function. Teams also unlock shared scheduling and collaboration features.

Creating teams is optional and not required to invite users.

Invites

Shows sent invitations that haven't been accepted yet.


How to invite a teammate

Anyone can invite a teammate to join, but only admins can manage permissions and teams.

  1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → People

  2. Click Invite teammates

  3. Enter the teammate's email address

  4. If you're an admin, you can choose their role:

    • Super Admin – full access to team settings and billing

    • Member – access to their own inbox, drafts, and meetings only

  5. Click Invite

The invited user will receive an email with a link to join your organization.

There's a further role: Team Admin. This is assigned separately, as it only exists within a team, not at the organization level. Once you've created a team, you can nominate a Team Admin from within it.

Alternatively, you can select Copy invite link, which assigns the member role as default.


What happens after you send an invite

  • The invite appears under the Invites tab until it's accepted

  • You'll see:

    • Email address

    • Assigned role

    • Who invited them

    • Date sent

  • Once accepted, the user moves automatically to the Members tab

If an invite hasn't been accepted yet, the user is not active and doesn't yet have access.


Seats and billing

Inviting a teammate may add a seat to your subscription, depending on:

  • Your current plan

  • Whether auto-add domain is enabled

  • Whether you already have unused seats

Common issues and fixes

I can't see the Invite teammates button

You may not have the correct permission. Ask your admin to do this for you.

I invited someone but they can't access Fyxer
  • Ask them to check their spam or promotions folder

  • Check they are using the exact email address you invited

You can also copy the invite link from the Invite teammates button and ask them to use that instead.

I paid for seats but can't find where to add people

Buying seats doesn't automatically add users. You will still need to send invitations from Settings → People → Invite teammates.
