Logging in and account setup (SSO guide)

How to decide between standard login and using SSO.

Fyxer offers flexible ways to log in and get started, whether you're an individual user, part of a team, or using SSO via your company. Here's how Fyxer login works.


Option 1: email + password (standard login)

Most users on the Pro plan sign up this way.

How it works:

  1. Select Start with Gmail or Outlook at fyxer.com to begin your free trial

  2. Choose to sign up using your Google or Microsoft email

  3. You'll see a standard Google or Microsoft pop-up asking for permission to connect your inbox and calendar – this is normal and required for Fyxer to work

  4. Create your password (or log in directly if you're using OAuth)

Once you're in, Fyxer will guide you through connecting your tools.

Use your primary work inbox to sign up. You can always connect extra email accounts later under Dashboard → Settings → Integrations.

Option 2: log in with SSO (Enterprise plans only)

If your organization has an Enterprise plan and has set up SSO (Single Sign-On):

  1. On the login screen, click Log in with SSO

  2. Enter your company email

  3. You'll be redirected to your company's SSO login (e.g. Okta, Azure AD)

Your Fyxer account is provisioned automatically using your organization's credentials.

SSO is available only for customers on the Enterprise plan and must be activated by your IT team during onboarding.


Common scenarios

What to do

You’re a Pro user signing up solo

Use standard login (Gmail/Outlook)

You’re part of a company using SSO

Click “Log In with SSO” and enter your company email

You’re unsure if your company uses SSO

Try “Log In with SSO” – if your email isn’t recognized, use standard login or contact your admin

You’re asked to pay, but your company covers your seat

You may have created a duplicate account – see Avoiding and resolving duplicate Fyxer accounts or contact Support using the Chat bottom right of your Dashboard


Troubleshooting

  • SSO not working?
    Make sure your organization has completed SSO setup with the Fyxer team

  • Signed up with the wrong email?
    Go to Dashboard → Profile to update your login, or delete and restart your account

  • Accidentally created a second account?
    See Avoiding and resolving duplicate Fyxer accounts or contact Support using the Chat bottom right of your Dashboard
