Understanding your Fyxer invoice
A breakdown of everything on your Fyxer invoice: plan charges, seat costs, proration adjustments, and taxes, so nothing looks unexpected.
Your Fyxer invoice shows exactly how your charges were calculated for a billing period - including your plan, number of seats, and any changes made during the cycle.
Where to find your invoices
To view and download your invoices, go to your Dashboard → Admin settings → Billing.

What's included on your invoice
A typical Fyxer invoice includes the following sections:
1. Plan and billing period
This section shows:
Your current plan (Starter or Professional)
Your billing cycle (monthly or annual)
The date range the invoice covers
If you recently changed plans or billing cycles, you may see partial periods listed.
2. Seat charges (per-user billing)
Fyxer bills per active seat. You'll see:
Number of active users during the billing period
Price per seat
Total seat cost
If your seat count changed mid-cycle, this section may include:
Partial charges
Credits for removed users

3. Proration adjustments (very common)
Proration appears when:
Seats are added or removed mid-cycle
You upgrade or downgrade your plan
You switch billing cycles
Instead of charging you twice, Fyxer:
Charges only for the time a seat or plan was active
Applies credits where applicable
This can result in:
Multiple line items
Smaller partial charges
Credits offsetting charges
4. Taxes (VAT/sales tax)
If applicable, your invoice may include:
VAT
Sales tax
Other regional taxes
To ensure correct tax handling, you can add your VAT or tax registration number in: Dashboard → Admin settings → Billing.

5. Total amount charged
This is the final amount charged to your payment method for the invoice period, including:
Seat charges
Proration adjustments
Taxes (if applicable)
Why your invoice might look different than expected
The most common reasons invoices change are:
New users were added to your organization
Auto-add domain was enabled
Seats were added or removed mid-cycle
You switched plans or billing cycles

Frequently asked questions
Why are there multiple line items?
This usually indicates proration – not duplicate charges.
Why does this invoice look higher than last month?
Seat changes, plan changes, or billing cycle changes are the most common causes.
Was I charged twice?
This is unlikely. Reviewing line items usually shows partial charges and credits rather than duplicate billing.
