Turn your scheduling link on or off

Updated yesterday

The scheduling link feature is turned on by default for most users, especially if you didn’t opt out during beta testing.

How does it work?

  • Fyxer will only insert the link in a draft when:

    • You have a calendar connected (Google or Outlook)

  • The link is included in the draft, nothing is ever sent without your approval

  • If you don’t want to use the link, just delete it from the draft

  • If your contact clicks the link, they’ll only see your available time slots

How to set it up/turn it off

  1. Log into your Fyxer AI Dashboard

  2. In the left-side menu, go to Scheduling Settings

  3. Toggle on/off “Should Fyxer include a scheduling link in your calendar drafts?”

  4. Click Update Preferences to save changes

Troubleshooting

It’s booking strange times - how do I fix that?

Check that your timezone is correct in Scheduling Settings. Fyxer AI shows availability based on your connected calendar.

I didn’t see the link in my draft - why?

The link only appears if:

  • You’ve connected your calendar

  • There’s only one recipient on the email thread

I got an error saying the event wasn’t created - what happened?

Sometimes your calendar provider blocks third-party bookings. If that happens, the error email includes a backup link to manually book the time.
