Scheduling with Fyxer: Drafts vs. links

Fyxer AI helps you book meetings faster with our smart scheduling links built directly into your draft emails, without needing a separate scheduling tool.



1. Scheduling Drafts (inline in your inbox)

Fyxer can generate a draft email that already suggests times for a meeting based on your Outlook or Google calendar.

  • How it works:

    • Fyxer looks at your calendar and the context of the email thread (e.g. a client asking for a demo).

    • It automatically generates a reply draft that proposes times.

    • You stay in control - the draft is saved to your Drafts folder for you to review and send.

  • Key points:

    • Drafts are not sent automatically; you approve and send them.

    • The suggested times are tailored to the conversation (short meeting, longer pitch, etc).

    • This is different from inserting a scheduling link - it’s more proactive.

Example use case: A client asks, “When can we talk?” → Fyxer drafts a reply offering 2–3 available slots. You can hit send immediately, saving you time.




2. Scheduling Links (share your live availability)

Fyxer can also insert scheduling links into your drafts:

  • Recipients click the link and choose a time from your live calendar availability.

  • Links are one-time use and expire once booked.

  • You can also use your general scheduling link for open availability.

  • Pro users can show full slot availability (vs. smart suggestions).

  • Time zones are handled automatically based on your calendar.




What is the General Scheduling Link?

Your general scheduling link is a personal booking link powered by Fyxer AI. It lets anyone pick a time with you based on your live calendar availability. You can set the default meeting duration in your preferences, and use the link in signatures, email templates, or replies when you want to offer open availability - no draft required.


Rescheduling a Meeting

If someone books time using your Fyxer link and you/they need to reschedule:

  • Manually email the recipient to propose a new time.

  • If needed, paste your general scheduling link into that email so they can rebook

  • Cancel or update the original calendar invite in your calendar app to avoid confusion.


Show All Scheduling Slots (Pro only)

Pro users can now choose to display all available time slots in their scheduling link.

  • Ideal for: Sales reps, customer success managers, anyone needing to show full availability

  • Not ideal for: Execs or users who prefer to limit exposure of their calendar

To enable it:

  • Go to DashboardScheduling Settings

  • Toggle “Show all scheduling slots in link”

If you're not on the Pro plan, this setting will be greyed out with a message explaining it’s only available to Pro users.


Time Zone Handling

Fyxer automatically sets your timezone when:

  • You first visit our website (based on your computer settings)

  • You connect your calendar (we’ll match your calendar’s timezone)

If you’re travelling or working remotely, Fyxer updates timezone settings for you automatically.

Troubleshooting Timezone Issues:

  • Check your Scheduling Settings in the Fyxer dashboard

  • Make sure your calendar is connected

  • Confirm your calendar app (Google/Outlook) has the correct timezone set
