What if Fyxer AI didn't attend my meeting?

If your Notetaker didn’t show up, here are the most common reasons, and what you can check to fix it.

1. Check your Notetaker settings

Make sure the Notetaker is enabled to join meetings.

Go to: Fyxer AI Dashboard → Meetings Settings

  • Set to join all meetings or join meetings I'm hosting

2. Common reasons the Notetaker doesn’t join

  • The Notetaker isn’t enabled
→ Check your Fyxer settings to ensure it’s turned on.

  • The host didn’t let it in
→ If someone else hosts the meeting, they may need to admit the bot or allow external guests.

  • Invite wasn’t accepted
→ The Notetaker relies on calendar acceptance to join properly.

  • No meeting link
→ The calendar event needs to include a valid video call link (e.g. Zoom, Teams, Meet).

  • Meeting is too short
→ Fyxer requires a minimum meeting duration (typically 10 minutes) to join and record.

3. Use your dashboard to check what happened

Go to Dashboard → Meetings → Upcoming

You may see these status messages:

  • “Meeting link not accepted”
→ You or another participant didn’t accept the invite, so the bot cannot join.

  • “No meeting link”
→ The calendar event is missing a video call link - update the invite and resend it.

Still not sure?
