Why is my custom Notetaker image not showing?

Updated this week

If you're on a Pro or Enterprise plan and still see the default "Fyxer is taking notes" image during meetings, the issue is usually related to when the meeting was created, not the upload itself.

Why This Happens

The Notetaker's image is attached to a calendar event at the moment the event is created.

This means:

  • Meetings scheduled before you uploaded your custom image will continue showing the default branding

  • Updating your logo does not retroactively update existing or already-scheduled meetings

  • The new image applies only to newly created or edited events

How to Apply Your Custom Image to Future Meetings

Follow these steps to ensure your updated Notetaker image appears in upcoming meetings:

  1. Open your Fyxer Dashboard

  2. Go to Meetings → Settings

  3. Under Automatically join, temporarily set the Notetaker to None

    • This pauses auto-joining for all upcoming events

  4. Wait about 10 minutes

  5. Switch the setting back to All meetings (or your preferred join setting)

This resets the Notetaker's join configuration and updates the image for newly created meetings.

How to Fix It for Meetings Already on Your Calendar

If you want your custom branding to appear for meetings that were created before the logo change:

  • Edit the event (e.g., adjust the time or description and save), or

  • Re-create / duplicate the meeting

Either action re-generates the calendar object, allowing the Notetaker to attach with the new image.
