Fyxer is designed to work for teams without exposing anyone's private inbox or meetings by default. This article explains exactly what's private, what's shared, and where the boundaries are - so there are no surprises.
The Short Version
By default, Fyxer is private per user. Each person's emails, drafts, and meetings are only visible to them.
Being in the same organization does not mean teammates can see each other's inboxes or notes.
What Team Members Can See
Their own data only
Each team member can access:
Their own email drafts
Their own inbox categorization
Their own meeting transcripts and summaries
Their own scheduling links and calendar activity
Their personal preferences (draft tone, follow-ups, categorization)
No one else in the organization can view this content.
Basic team information
All members can see:
The organization name
A list of teammates (names + email addresses)
Their own role (Admin or Member)
This is for basic account awareness - not content sharing.
What Team Members Cannot See
Other people's inboxes
Team members cannot:
Read other users' emails
See drafts written for someone else
View inbox categories or folders from other users
Other people's meeting notes or recordings
Meeting notes and transcripts are only visible to the person whose calendar the meeting belongs to.
This means:
You can't see a teammate's meeting notes
You can't browse a shared library of team meetings
You can't access recordings unless you personally hosted or joined the meeting
Admins cannot see private content
Even Admins cannot:
Read member inboxes
Access drafts or meeting notes
View transcripts or recordings from other users
Admins manage settings and billing, not content.
Common Misconceptions (and the Reality)
We're on the same team - shouldn't we see each other's meetings?
No. Fyxer prioritizes individual privacy. Team membership does not create shared visibility into inboxes or meetings.
Can managers review calls for coaching?
Not automatically. Fyxer does not currently offer a shared coaching library of team meetings. If this is important for your team, contact sales to discuss Enterprise options or future roadmap items.
What about shared inboxes like info@ or sales@?
Shared or group mailboxes are not supported.
Fyxer connects to:
Individual Gmail inboxes
Individual Outlook mailboxes (Microsoft 365)
It cannot connect directly to shared mailboxes.
Enterprise Plans and Shared Learning (Important Distinction)
On Enterprise plans only:
Fyxer can learn patterns across a group without exposing individual emails
This improves suggestions and automation
Content itself is still not shared or visible
On Starter and Professional plans:
Learning is strictly individual
No team-wide AI learning occurs
