Connect your email and calendar to unlock smart email drafts, inbox categorization, scheduling assistance, and the meeting Notetaker.


Connect your inbox

  1. Open your Dashboard

  2. Go to Settings β†’ Integrations

  3. Under Email, select Connect Gmail or Connect Outlook

  4. Approve the access request from Google or Microsoft

  5. Return to Integrations and check that the account is connected

What this access allows Fyxer to do:

  • Categorize your inbox (last 300 emails)

  • Generate smart email drafts

  • Help you follow up on messages

What Fyxer does not do:

  • Never sends emails without your review

  • Never uses your data to train external AI models

Connect your calendar

  1. In the same Integrations page, select Connect next to calendar

  2. Choose Google or Outlook Calendar

  3. Approve the permissions

This enables:

  • Smart scheduling links

  • Availability suggestions in email drafts

  • Automatic meeting notes and summaries via Notetaker

  • Meeting pre-reads before recurring previously recorded meetings

Note: Fyxer never books meetings without your approval.

Check you're ready to go

A successful setup means you now have:

  • Email connected

  • Calendar connected

  • Fyxer folders/labels visible in Gmail or Outlook

  • Categorization running on your last 300 emails and any new ones

If you don't see these changes, try refreshing your inbox or checking your integration status in the Dashboard. There are more troubleshooting tips below.



What happens next

Your last 300 emails will be categorized and as new emails arrive, Fyxer will:

  • Categorize them into smart folders

  • Draft replies for messages labeled "To do"

  • Highlight follow-ups you're waiting on

  • Suggest meeting times when someone requests your time


Troubleshooting

Do I need to download a Fyxer Outlook add-in?

No, Fyxer connects directly to your Outlook account via the Dashboard. No additional add-ins are required.

What permissions does Fyxer require?

Fyxer requires access to your email and calendar to provide its full range of features, including email categorization and smart draft generation.

What should I do if I encounter issues during setup?

  • Double-check that you are using the correct email account

  • Ensure that your IT admin has approved Fyxer for your organization, if applicable

  • If you encounter issues such as duplicate accounts or IT admin restrictions, ensure only your active paid account is connected and consult your IT admin for approval if necessary
