Fyxer connects to your email and calendar using secure, industry-standard APIs provided by Google and Microsoft. These integrations allow Fyxer to deliver inbox organization, email drafts, scheduling assistance, and meeting notes - without requiring unnecessary or elevated access.
All connections use OAuth 2.0, meaning Fyxer never sees or stores your email or calendar passwords.
Email Integrations
Depending on your provider, Fyxer uses:
Google Workspace APIs (Gmail and Google Calendar)
Microsoft Graph APIs (Outlook and Microsoft 365)
These APIs allow Fyxer to:
Read and categorize emails
Generate draft replies (never send them)
Track replies and follow-ups
Understand email context for scheduling suggestions
Fyxer only scans emails in Inbox and Sent Items. Emails already moved by your own rules can be skipped, depending on your settings.
Calendar and Scheduling Access
Calendar access is used to:
Read availability for scheduling
Draft scheduling emails and links
Prevent double-booking
Support meeting summaries and follow-ups
Fyxer never sends calendar invites automatically. All meeting actions require user approval.
Meeting Platforms
If you enable the Meeting Notetaker, Fyxer integrates with:
Google Meet
Microsoft Teams
Zoom (requires separate Zoom connection)
This access allows Fyxer to:
Join meetings you've scheduled
Transcribe conversations in real time
Generate summaries and action items after the meeting
If the Notetaker is disabled, no meeting data is accessed or processed.
Permissions Philosophy: Least Access Required
Fyxer follows a principle of least privilege:
Only permissions required for enabled features are requested
No blanket or administrative mailbox access
No access to shared or group inboxes
No background sending or automated actions
You can disconnect integrations at any time from your dashboard.
What Fyxer Does Not Do
Does not send emails on your behalf
Does not access inboxes you haven't connected
Does not use your data to train public or third-party AI models
Does not retain access after you disconnect or delete your account
For IT and Security Teams
If you're connecting a work account, your organization may require admin approval (common with Microsoft 365). See our Admin Setup Guide for details on what admins see and approve during setup.
