Where Fyxer data is stored (server locations & jurisdiction)

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Fyxer is designed to meet strict data residency, privacy, and regulatory requirements. All customer data is processed and stored securely within the European Union.

Data Residency

Fyxer stores and processes data exclusively in the EU/EEA.

Primary server locations:

  • Belgium

  • The Netherlands

This ensures alignment with GDPR data residency requirements and avoids unnecessary exposure to non-EU jurisdictions.

Cloud Infrastructure

Fyxer is hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), using EU-based data centers only.

Google Cloud provides enterprise-grade infrastructure with strong security, availability, and compliance guarantees. Fyxer does not operate its own physical servers and does not store customer data outside approved EU regions.

Jurisdiction and Legal Safeguards

Because all Fyxer customer data is stored and processed within the EU:

  • Data is governed by EU and local member-state laws

  • GDPR protections apply by default

  • Customer data is not subject to U.S. data residency by default

  • We do not voluntarily transfer customer data outside the EU

This is particularly important for customers assessing exposure to regulations such as the U.S. Cloud Act or sector-specific compliance requirements.

Infrastructure Security Standards

Google Cloud Platform adheres to widely recognized security and compliance frameworks, including:

  • ISO/IEC 27001 – Information Security Management

  • ISO/IEC 27017 – Cloud security controls

  • ISO/IEC 27018 – Protection of personal data in the cloud

  • SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 – Security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy controls

  • PCI DSS – Payment card data security

  • GDPR – EU data protection compliance

GCP data centers are built to Tier III (or higher) specifications, providing redundancy, resilience, and high availability.

What This Means for You

  • Your data stays within the EU

  • Your organization benefits from GDPR-first design

  • No hidden cross-border data transfers

  • Suitable for regulated industries with strict data residency requirements
