What Are Custom Words?
Custom words let you improve transcription accuracy by adding specific terms such as:
Company or product names (e.g. Fyxer AI)
Team or project acronyms (e.g. OpsRev Squad)
Industry jargon or technical terms (e.g. QBR, LLM tuning)
These terms become reference points during transcription and summarization, so your notes stay accurate from the start.
Where To Find It
Go to your Fyxer AI Dashboard
In your left-side menu, go to Meetings Settings
Scroll to Custom words
You’ll see a field where you can add up to 100 terms.
How It Works
Add custom words or phrases one at a time
These should be terms that matter to your team, and may not be recognized by default
Custom words is per user (not organization-wide). For now, each user can manage their own list of custom terms.
Fyxer will use these as reference points during transcription and summarization
Meeting transcript language must be set to English
You can update or remove terms at any time.
💡 Tip: Keep the list clean. No need to include common words or full sentences. Focus on names and terms Fyxer might mishear.
