Your meeting notes, your way. Edit summaries, refine transcripts, update action items, and translate into your language of choice. Then choose your summary style and export in the format that works for you.
Edit the transcript
You can edit a meeting transcript directly inside any recorded meeting.
You might want to:
Fix misspelled names
Correct phrases or terminology
Remove off-topic or confidential sections
Any transcript edits automatically update the context Fyxer uses when regenerating summaries.
Choose a summary style
You can switch between summary styles using the Presets dropdown at the top of your meeting notes.
Available styles:
Executive (default): high-level overview of discussion points, decisions, and actions
Chronological: time-ordered summary of topics, decisions, and action items
Sales: designed for sales calls, highlighting prospect needs, blockers, next steps, and opportunities
Create your own: design a custom summary template
How to switch styles:
Open a recorded meeting in your Dashboard → Notetaker → Recorded
Click on Presets
Select a style from the dropdown
Edit your summary
Click directly into the summary text to make edits. You can tag individuals with @ or reference teams with #.
Translate your summary
Need your summary in a different language? You can translate any meeting summary directly from the meeting view.
How to translate:
Open a recorded meeting in your Dashboard → Notetaker → Recorded
Click the ··· menu in the top right
Select Translate summary
The summary will take a moment to appear – just refresh the page if you don't see it.
Export and share your meetings
Share your summary or transcript directly from the meeting view. On both pages you'll find two options:
Copy summary: copies the text to paste into an email, Slack, or your CRM
Download PDF: exports a formatted, share-ready PDF
Recording retention and deletion
Admins can control how long meeting recordings and transcripts are kept. This is an organization-level setting and applies to all users in the team.
How retention settings work
Retention settings apply to all recordings, including existing ones.
When you change the setting (for example, from Never to 7 days):
Fyxer deletes any recordings older than 7 days immediately
Recordings continue to be deleted automatically as they pass the 7-day mark
Deletions are automatic and cannot be undone.
Example:
If an admin switches retention from Never to 7 days, Fyxer deletes all recordings older than 7 days, not just new ones created after the change.
If your team needs to keep older recordings, review or export them before updating the retention settings.
