Fyxer’s meeting pre-reads: Full context, fast

Updated this week

Fyxer AI helps you step into meetings with full context - no more last-minute scrambling through email threads or tabs. With Pre-Reads, you’ll get a concise, relevant overview delivered straight to your inbox before the call starts.

What Are Meeting Pre-Reads?

Meeting Pre-Reads are automatic email summaries generated before your meeting. They give you a quick snapshot of what matters most, so you can:

  • Catch up on recent conversations without digging through threads

  • Understand the meeting’s purpose and history

  • Walk in ready for key decisions or questions

  • Scan background info on attendees or companies

When to Expect a Pre-Read

Fyxer only generates pre-reads when they’re actually useful:

  • Meetings with external attendees → Internal standups, lunch breaks, or casual catchups won’t trigger a pre-read.

  • Meetings with context available → If Fyxer has past meeting notes or relevant email history, it will pull that in.

  • Timing → The pre-read is delivered to your inbox 15 minutes before your meeting starts.

💡 Not every meeting gets a pre-read - Fyxer is designed to filter out noise so you only see context where it adds real value.

What’s Included

Your pre-read email typically contains:

  • Recent Discussions → Key points from recent emails or meetings related to this group or topic.

  • Meeting Context → Attendees, whether it’s recurring, and the agenda (if available).

  • Background Research → Quick profiles of attendees and companies, with roles, bios, and latest updates.

  • On-Hover Details (Dashboard only) → Click or hover over a name/company to see richer context like past mentions or company snapshots.

How to Turn On/Off Pre-Reads

You’re in control of when and how pre-reads are generated:

  1. Go to your Fyxer AI Dashboard → Meetings → Settings

  2. Adjust preferences under the toggle for Pre-Reads:

    • Pre-read emails → Toggle on/off insights delivered before meetings
