The Fyxer Notetaker desktop app is a lightweight Mac and Windows app that records your meetings directly from your computer – without showing up as a visible participant on the call.
No extra names in the attendee list. No interruptions. Just your transcript, summary, and action items captured quietly in the background.
Desktop app vs online Notetaker: what's the difference?
Fyxer supports two recording experiences:
Online Notetaker (visible)
The Fyxer Notetaker joins remote meetings as a participant
Best for scheduled Zoom/Meet/Teams calls
Desktop app can still be used manually for in-person meetings
Desktop app (invisible)
Records locally from your computer
Use it manually for in-person meetings, or alongside the online Notetaker
No participant entry on the call (if the online Notetaker is disabled)
Key features
Invisible recording
Record meetings without appearing in the participant list.
Full recording control
Pause or stop anytime using the floating recording menu.
Works across platforms
Supported meeting providers include:
Zoom
Google Meet
Microsoft Teams
Slack Huddles
In-person meeting support

Who is this for?

Want a more reliable recording experience
Need to capture in-person discussions
Prefer fewer tools visible on your calls
