How do I move my Fyxer account to a new email address?

Updated today

If you're changing email addresses, you can move your Fyxer usage in one of two ways - depending on whether you want to keep your existing data or start fresh.

Option 1: Add a New Inbox to Your Existing Account (Recommended)

This is the safest and most common option if you want to keep your drafts, categorization history, and meeting notes.

When to use this:

  • You're switching jobs but still want access to past data

  • You're adding a second inbox

  • You want continuity across email addresses

How to add a new inbox:

  1. Open your Fyxer Dashboard

  2. Go to Settings β†’ Integrations

  3. Click Connect another email

  4. Follow the prompts to connect your new email and calendar

Once connected:

  • Both inboxes live in the same Fyxer account

  • Fyxer organizes and drafts for both

  • Your existing data stays intact

Option 2: Fully Switch to a New Account (Start Fresh)

Choose this only if you do not need your existing data.

When to use this:

  • You're permanently moving to a new email

  • You want a clean slate

  • You no longer need previous drafts or meeting notes

How to switch completely:

  1. In your current dashboard, go to Settings β†’ Integrations

  2. Disconnect your email and calendar

  3. Go to Profile β†’ Account Delete β†’ account

  4. Sign up again using your new email address

  5. Reconnect your calendar and any other integrations (Zoom, CRM, etc.)

Important: Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Draft emails

  • Categorization history

  • Meeting recordings and notes

This cannot be undone.

Not Sure Which Option Is Right?
