Check if Fyxer supports your setup

Fyxer works smoothly across most modern cloud email and calendar systems. Here's how to confirm your tools are supported.

Supported Email Providers

Gmail:

  • Google Workspace

  • Personal Gmail accounts

Outlook (Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online):

  • New Outlook for Mac

  • New Outlook for Windows

  • Outlook on the web

  • Outlook Desktop (Mac)

Note: Fyxer requires cloud-hosted Microsoft accounts. On-premise Exchange and hybrid Outlook deployments are not supported.

Supported Calendars

  • Google Calendar

  • Outlook Calendar (Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online)

Supported Browsers

Fyxer works best on:

  • Google Chrome (latest)

  • Microsoft Edge

  • Safari (latest)

πŸ’‘Tip: If something looks off, disable script-blocking extensions (e.g., ad blockers), which may interfere with the Dashboard.



Not Supported

The following setups cannot run Fyxer reliably:

  • Apple Mail (macOS/iOS Mail app)

  • Thunderbird, Spark, Superhuman, Notion Mail

  • GoDaddy-hosted Microsoft 365

  • Alias-only accounts (draft replies may fail)

  • POP3 / IMAP inboxes

  • PST/OST local Outlook data files

  • Hybrid Gmail + Outlook environments

  • Admin-restricted enterprise accounts (may require IT approval)

How to Log In Successfully

Gmail users:

  • Use Sign in with Google

  • Make sure you log in with the email assigned to your Fyxer account

Outlook users:



Common Onboarding Blockers (and How to Fix Them Fast)

1. You're using unsupported Outlook infrastructure

Symptoms:

  • Connection errors

  • Missing folders

  • Drafts not appearing

Fix: Confirm your account is Microsoft 365 cloud-hosted - not GoDaddy or on-prem Exchange.

2. Browser extensions blocking the Dashboard

Symptoms:

  • Buttons do nothing

  • Blank screens

  • Categorization doesn't load

Fix: Turn off ad-blockers, script blockers, or tracking blockers and refresh.

3. Using an email alias instead of your real inbox

Symptoms:

  • Drafts fail to save

  • "Message not found" errors

Fix: Connect your primary mailbox. Aliases are not fully supported.

4. Wrong login identity

Symptoms:

  • "Account not recognized"

  • "This email is already linked to another organization"

Fix: Sign in using the email registered inside your Fyxer workspace.

5. IT restrictions (common in enterprise Outlook)

Symptoms:

  • Microsoft approval screen

  • "Blocked by admin"

  • Cannot grant permissions

Fix: Your IT admin must allow the OAuth permissions required by Fyxer. Reference article: Connecting Outlook to Fyxer - what to do if Microsoft asks for admin approval

Quick Test: Will My Setup Work?

Go to: Dashboard β†’ Settings β†’ Integrations

Try connecting your email and calendar.

If both connect successfully, your setup is fully supported.

If not, check:

  • Your email provider

  • Your Outlook hosting type

  • Admin permissions

  • Browser extensions
