If your email is hosted through GoDaddy, it may look like a regular Outlook or Gmail account - but GoDaddy manages these services differently. Because of this, GoDaddy-hosted email accounts cannot connect to third-party tools like Fyxer. A migration to standard Microsoft 365 - or moving to Google Workspace - is required to enable Fyxer access.
Check Whether Your Email Is Hosted by GoDaddy
Log in to your GoDaddy account
Go to My Products
Under Email & Office, look for your email service type:
Microsoft 365 - Outlook-based
Google Workspace - Gmail-based
This determines which set of limitations applies.
If You're Using Microsoft 365 from GoDaddy
GoDaddy uses a custom, locked-down version of Microsoft 365 that prevents external apps - including Fyxer - from connecting through standard authentication.
What this means:
This version does not support the permissions Fyxer needs
It is a known, provider-level limitation
There is no workaround available from Fyxer's side
Even though it looks like standard Outlook, GoDaddy's provisioning blocks required API access.
What You Can Do
Option 1: Contact GoDaddy Support
Ask whether they can:
Adjust permissions to allow third-party app access
Migrate your mailbox to a standard Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online environment
Some users have been able to switch to a direct Microsoft 365 subscription through GoDaddy support.
Option 2: Move to a Supported Email Provider
Fyxer works seamlessly with:
Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) purchased directly from Microsoft
Google Workspace accounts managed outside GoDaddy
If switching providers is an option, this will resolve the issue permanently.
