Using Fyxer Chat for search, answers, and drafting

Fyxer Chat lets you ask questions about your inbox, meetings, documents, and tasks, all in one place. You can also draft new emails - from scratch or based on context - using text or your voice.


What You Can Ask

Fyxer Chat can pull answers from:

  • Your inbox

  • Meeting recordings and summaries

  • Uploaded documents and files

  • Your calendar

  • The web (for general research)

Here are examples of what you can ask:

Inbox & Communication History:

  • "Find the email thread about the new property listing"

  • "Who introduced me to this client?"

  • "What are the latest updates on the investor deck?"

→ Chat searches messages across your email accounts.

Meeting Notes & Recordings:

  • "What were the key points from yesterday's valuation call?"

  • "Which follow-ups came out of my meeting with Acme?"

→ Chat scans your transcripts and summaries.

Tasks & Priorities:

  • "What do I need to action today?"

  • "What deadlines are coming up?"

→ Chat pulls tasks from email threads, summaries, and follow-ups.

Uploaded Documents:

  • "What does our onboarding guide say about integrations?"

  • "Summarize our pricing sheet"

→ Chat references files you've uploaded to your Fyxer workspace.


How to Use Fyxer Chat

  1. Open your Fyxer Dashboard

  2. Locate the chat bar ("Ask me anything…")

  3. Type your question or select a suggested prompt

  4. Press Enter to get your answer



Draft: Create New Emails in Your Style

In the Chat, prompt it to draft you:

  • A new email from scratch

  • A follow-up message

  • A reply based on context

  • A longer, structured message

Fyxer uses your:

  • Inbox history

  • Writing style

  • Meeting notes

  • Uploaded documents

  • Calendar context

Where drafts are saved: All drafts created in Chat are saved in your email Drafts folder, ready for review and sending.

If you manage multiple inboxes, select which account to draft into.


Voice Mode: Ask Questions Using Your Voice

You can now speak directly to Fyxer Chat.

Fyxer can answer questions about:

  • Your inbox

  • Your meeting notes

  • Your documents

  • Upcoming tasks

  • Anything you'd usually type

It's particularly useful when reviewing recordings hands-free.

How to use it: Tap the microphone icon → speak your question → Fyxer returns the answer.



Chat Inside Meeting Recordings

You can also access Chat directly from a recorded meeting:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Meetings → Recordings

  2. Open the meeting

  3. Use the chat panel to:

    • Ask questions about the transcript

    • Pull moments from the discussion

    • Request a follow-up email

    • Draft a client recap

All drafts created from this view appear in your email Drafts folder.



Tips for Best Results

  • Be specific: include the topic, person, or company ("What did Sam say about budget?")

  • Use keywords mentioned in the meeting or email

  • Provide short instructions for long email drafts ("draft a short, friendly follow-up confirming next steps")

  • Use voice mode when reviewing meeting transcripts - it finds answers across long meetings quickly



Troubleshooting

If Chat can't answer your question:

  • Check that your email and calendar integrations are connected

  • Ensure your meeting was processed (transcript available)

  • Confirm your uploaded documents are under 10MB and readable

  • Try rephrasing your question with more detail
