Your 7-Day onboarding checklist: What to expect

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Getting started with Fyxer takes less than a week. Each day builds on the last. Here's your guide to the first 7 days.

Day 0: Setup essentials

  • Connect Gmail/Outlook and Calendar

  • Approve permissions so Fyxer can categorize, draft, and schedule

  • Go to DashboardCategorization → decide if categories should stay in your inbox or move into folders

Day 1: First wins in your inbox

  • Watch Fyxer sort your inbox

  • Send your first draft reply (auto-generated in To Respond)

Quick win: You should save 30–60 minutes today by acting only from "To Respond" with Fyxer-generated drafts ready to send.

Day 2: Training the AI

Day 3: Meeting Notetaker

  • Invite the Notetaker to a meeting

  • Review the notes, transcript, and action items in your Dashboard

  • Try the meeting pre-read feature for an upcoming call

Day 4: Smarter scheduling

  • Reply to a meeting request and watch Fyxer insert your availability into a draft automatically

  • Set up your personal scheduling link under Scheduling Settings - ideal for quick back-and-forths

Day 5: Build new habits

Day 6: Try Chat

  • Search for info: Ask Chat about a topic covered in your Day 1–2 emails or documents you uploaded (e.g., "What did my client ask last week?")

  • Draft from scratch: Ask Chat to draft you a new email - Fyxer will generate the draft and drop it straight into your inbox

Tip: Chat + Draft mode is perfect for outbound emails where you want to start from zero but keep your voice consistent.

Day 7: Review and adjust

  • Revisit your Dashboard settings → tweak categorization, draft, or scheduling rules

  • If drafts feel off, remember Fyxer learns fast with edits and uploads

  • Reminder: Fyxer never sends without your review

  • Check out our Help Centre FAQ for common setup questions or reach out to [email protected]

By the end of week one, you will:

  • Save an hour or more per day

  • Always know what needs your response

  • Have reliable drafts, calendar links, and meeting notes ready

  • Trust that nothing important slips through the cracks
