Recording or importing a meeting in Fyxer AI

Fyxer makes it easy to capture, transcribe, and summarize any meeting - whether it’s happening now or happened in the past.



Option 1: Record a New Meeting

Use this option to capture a live meeting that isn’t already on your calendar.

Steps:

  1. Open your Fyxer AI Dashboard and go to the Meetings > Recordings section.

  2. Click Record.

  3. In the dropdown, select New Meeting.

  4. (Optional) Add a Meeting Title to help identify it later.

  5. Check your microphone settings:

    • Default: Your device’s built-in microphone

    • Click Change to choose another input

  6. Click Start Recording to begin.

Tips for best results:

  • Speak clearly in a quiet environment for more accurate transcripts.

  • Let other attendees know the meeting is being recorded.

  • External microphones improve audio quality.



Option 2: Import an Existing Meeting Recording (Beta)

If you’ve already recorded a meeting - using Zoom, Teams, Meet, or another tool - you can upload it to Fyxer AI to generate a transcript, meeting notes, and action items.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Meetings > Recordings section

  2. Click the Import button.

  3. Select New Meeting in the dropdown.

  4. (Optional) Add a Meeting Title.

  5. Under Meeting File, click Choose file to upload your audio or video file.

    • Supported formats: video and audio files up to 1GB.

  6. Click Import Meeting.



After the Meeting (Recorded or Imported)

Once the process is complete, Fyxer AI will:

  • Provide a searchable transcript.

  • Summarize key points and decisions.

  • Highlight action items.

  • Allow you to “Chat with Transcript” to find details quickly.
