Configure your Meeting Notetaker

You can adjust how and when Fyxer AI joins your meetings, who receives meeting summaries, and how recordings are shared. All controls are available in your Meeting Settings.


Open your Notetaker Settings

  1. Select Meetings in the left menu.

  2. Click Settings

You’ll see two tabs:

  • General – for joining, recording, and sharing preferences

  • Pre-reads – for enabling pre-meeting summaries



Automatically Join

Choose how the Notetaker should join your meetings:

  • All meetings – Fyxer joins every meeting with a link.

  • External meetings - Fyxer will only join meetings with external attendees.

  • Meetings I host – Joins only meetings where you are the organizer.

  • Off – The Notetaker will not join automatically.

Fyxer joins just before the meeting starts. If someone else is the host, they may need to admit it.


Transcript Language

Select the language used for meeting transcripts.


Custom Words

Add key terms to improve transcription accuracy — such as company names, technical terms, or acronyms.

  1. Type a word or phrase (e.g., “Project X”).

  2. Click Add custom word.

  3. Remove or edit anytime.


Automatically Share Recordings

Add email addresses of people who should automatically receive meeting recordings and summaries.

  • Click Add email to include someone.

  • These recipients will be auto-invited to your recorded meetings.


Send Meeting Recap To

Choose who receives meeting summaries by email:

  • Myself only – Only you receive the summary after a meeting.

  • Everyone on the calendar invite – All attendees automatically receive the summary.

  • No one - switch off meeting summaries entirely


Failure Notifications

Enable Send failure emails if we couldn’t join the meeting if you’d like to be notified when the Notetaker cannot attend.
