How to invite or add team members

Fyxer makes it easy to invite teammates, manage who has access, and stay in control of roles and billing. All team management happens in one place: Settings → Team.



Where to Manage Your Team

In your Fyxer Dashboard, go to: Settings → Team

You'll see three tabs at the top of the page:

1. Members

Shows everyone who is already part of your organization.
From here, Admins can:

  • See current teammates

  • View roles (Admin or Member)

  • Remove users if needed

2. Teams

Lets you group teammates into teams for easier access management. This is optional and not required to invite users.

3. Invites

Shows pending invitations you've sent but haven't been accepted yet. This is where you'll invite new teammates.



How to Invite a Teammate

Only Admins can invite new users.

Step-by-step:

  1. Open Settings → Team

  2. Click Invite teammates

  3. Enter the teammate's email address

  4. Choose their role:

    • Admin - full access to team settings and billing

    • Member - access to their own inbox, drafts, and meetings only

  5. Click Invite

The invited user will receive an email with a link to join your organization.


What Happens After You Send an Invite

  • The invite appears under the Invites tab

  • You'll see:

    • Email address

    • Assigned role

    • Who invited them

    • Date sent

  • Once accepted, the user moves automatically to the Members tab

If an invite hasn't been accepted yet, the user is not active and does not yet have access.


Seat & Billing Awareness (Important)

Inviting a teammate may add a seat to your subscription, depending on:

  • Your current plan

  • Whether auto-add domain is enabled

  • Whether you already have unused seats


Common Issues & Quick Fixes

"I don't see Settings → Team"

  • You're likely a Member, not an Admin

  • Only Admins can invite or manage users

"I invited someone but they can't access Fyxer"

  • Ask them to:

    • Check spam or promotions

    • Use the exact email address you invited

  • You can copy the invite link directly from the Invites tab and resend it

"I paid for seats but can't find where to add people"

  • Seats ≠ invites

  • Buying seats doesn't automatically add users

  • You still need to send invitations from Settings → Team → Invite
