Your emails haven't disappeared. Fyxer organizes them into smart folders or labels so your inbox is easier to manage.
When you connect Fyxer, it automatically categorizes the last 300 and any incoming emails instead of leaving everything in your main inbox. This can make it look like emails are missing, but they're still there.
What's actually happening?
Fyxer sorts your email into categories like:
To Respond - emails that need a reply
FYI – informational messages
Notifications – automated or system emails
Marketing – newsletters and promotions
Depending on your email provider:
Gmail → emails are labeled and may move out of Primary
Outlook → emails are moved into folders
This is expected behavior and helps reduce inbox overload.
How to find your emails
In Gmail
Look for Fyxer labels (To Respond, FYI, Notifications)
Use the Gmail search bar - all emails are still searchable
Check All Mail if you're unsure where something went
In Outlook
Check the folders created by Fyxer in your mailbox
Expand your folder list if you don't see them right away
Want emails to stay in your main inbox?
You can change how categorization works.
To adjust or turn off categorization:
Go to your Dashboard → Categorization Settings
Toggle categories on or off
Choose whether emails are labeled only or moved into folders
Changes apply going forward - nothing is permanently deleted.
Why Fyxer does this
Fyxer surfaces emails that need action and reduces inbox noise so you can focus on what matters.
Most users start their day in To Respond, rather than scanning hundreds of emails.
Still can't find an email?
Try these quick checks:
Search your inbox for the sender or subject
Check All Mail (Gmail) or all folders (Outlook)
Make sure categorization is still enabled
