If you no longer want Fyxer connected to your email or calendar, you can fully disconnect it at any time. This guide explains exactly what happens when you remove a connection, how to remove Fyxer completely, and how to avoid confusion around folders or labels.
Step 1: Remove Your Email Connection in Fyxer
Open your Fyxer Dashboard
Go to Settings → Integrations
Click Remove next to your connected email account
You'll see a confirmation modal with two options.
Step 2: Choose How You Want to Remove Fyxer
When removing your email connection, you'll be asked to choose whether to keep or remove Fyxer-created folders and labels.
Option A: Remove Fyxer Completely (Recommended if you're done)
Leave "Keep Fyxer folders and labels" unchecked
Fyxer disconnects from your mailbox
All Fyxer-created folders and labels are removed
No emails are moved or deleted
All associated Fyxer data for this connection is deleted
This action is not reversible
Choose this if you want Fyxer fully removed with no traces left behind.
Option B: Keep Folders and Labels (Optional)
Check "Keep Fyxer folders and labels"
Fyxer disconnects from your mailbox
Existing folders and labels remain in Gmail or Outlook
No new categorization, drafts, or activity will occur
You can manually delete folders later if you wish
Choose this if you want to keep your inbox organization but stop using Fyxer.
What Happens After You Remove the Connection
Once the connection is removed:
Fyxer immediately stops accessing your email
No new drafts are created
No categorization or follow-ups occur
No calendar or meeting data is accessed
If you removed folders and labels, they are deleted automatically. If you chose to keep them, they remain purely as static folders.
Optional: Revoke Access at the Provider Level (Extra Reassurance)
Removing the connection in Fyxer is sufficient, but you can also revoke access directly with your email provider.
For Google users:
Visit your Google Account settings
Go to Security → Third-party apps with account access
Find Fyxer and click Remove Access
For Microsoft users:
Visit your Microsoft Account permissions page
Find Fyxer and remove its access
Delete Your Fyxer Account
If you want to permanently delete your account and all remaining data:
Go to Profile (bottom-left of the dashboard)
Select Delete Account
Confirm deletion
This permanently removes:
Your account
Preferences
Drafts and meeting notes
Common Questions
If I delete the connection, does Fyxer still have access?
No. Removing the connection immediately revokes Fyxer's access to your mailbox.
Does removing the connection delete my emails?
No. Fyxer never deletes your emails. Only Fyxer-created folders or labels are removed (if you choose).
Why does it say this action is not reversible?
Because once the connection is removed, Fyxer deletes all associated processing data for that mailbox.
Do I need to contact support?
No - everything can be done self-service.
