Your 7 day onboarding checklist: what to do

How to get the most out of Fyxer in your first week.

Updated this week

Fyxer is up and running in minutes. This checklist takes you through the first 7 days, one step at a time, so you're getting full value by the end of the week.

Day 0: setup essentials

  • Connect Gmail/Outlook and your calendar

  • Approve permissions so Fyxer can categorize, draft, and schedule

  • Go to DashboardCategorization → and decide which categories should stay in your inbox or move directly into folders

Day 1: first wins in your inbox

  • Fyxer has automatically organized your inbox – start the day ready to respond

  • Send your first draft reply from To do

Quick win: Work only from only To do today. Your Fyxer-generated drafts are ready to send, so you should save 30–60 minutes.

Day 2: training the AI

Day 3: Notetaker

Day 4: smarter scheduling

  • Set up your personal scheduling link to give others a simple way to schedule time with you

  • Reply to a meeting request and watch Fyxer insert your availability into a draft automatically

Day 5: build new habits

Day 6: try Chat

  • Search for info: Ask Chat about a topic covered in your one of your recent emails or documents you uploaded (e.g., "What did [client name] ask for on Monday?")

  • Draft from scratch: Ask Chat to draft you a new email from scratch. Fyxer will generate the draft and drop it straight into your drafts folder

Day 7: review and adjust

  • Revisit your Dashboard settings and tweak categorization, draft, and scheduling rules

  • If drafts aren't quite right, edit them. Fyxer learns fast from your corrections

  • Upload any relevant files and adjust your custom tone to sharpen future drafts

Reminder: Fyxer never sends without your review – you're always in control.

By the end of week one, you will:

  • Save an hour or more per day

  • Always know what needs your response

  • Have reliable drafts, calendar links, and meeting notes ready

  • Trust that nothing important slips through the cracks
